Sonam Kapoor fumes out from Mausam sets….

Sonam Kapoor recently, threw a starry tantrum in the face of Mausam’s crew when she stormed out of the film’s sets. On many occasions, the actress was sent back home by director Pankaj Kapur when she arrived late for the workshop of his film Mausam. But this time the actress had her way.
A source from the sets revealed, “A few days ago the Mausam shoot was going on in Chandigarh. Sonam had to shoot for a song and had flown down to Chandigarh early morning.
On reaching the hotel she found out that the room wasn’t booked and she had to wait for more than an hour till she was allotted one. Sonam was all red by then.”
The source continues, “She immediately freshened up and reached the sets. On reaching she realised that her make-up man, vanity van, spot boy, all were missing.
None of these facilities, which are mandatory and are supposed to be given by the production house, were given to her.
Still she patiently made calls to the production house, asking its staff for her requirements. None of them reverted to her for the longest time. Result: Sonam stormed out from the sets and did not come for shooting.”
Rumour has it that the actress was in no mood to relent after the incident but gave in after the crew’s persuasion.
“Eventually in the evening, after pacifying calls were made to her by the crew, she returned on the sets and shot for the song,” added the source.
However, Sonam and producer Sheetal Talwar denied the story.

For Gulshan Grover, intimate scene will Katrina Kaif was beautiful…

The hot scene that has Katrina Kaif unbuttoning her shirt in front of Gulshan Grover will come out in the DVD of her debut film Boom. Though Katrina isn’t giving much importance to the scene, Gulshan Grover says it’s a beautiful sequence.
Rather than being embarrassed by the scene which was axed from the censored version of Boom when it released and subsequently flopped, Grover says he’s fine with the scene being a part of the DVD.
In fact, Grover went on to add that it’s a “beautiful scene” that was shot on the backdrop of the aquarium Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
Grover, who is now gearing up to act with none other than Salma Hayek in a Hollywood film, said he considers Boom as one of the best films of his career.

If not stopped on time, John and Genelia would have been a married couple…

Vipul Shah’s ‘Force’ will have John Abraham and Genelia D’souza together for the first time. And it is heard that the duo almost got married to each other on the sets of this film as well.
The actors were in a wedding sequence and were stopped from completing the saat pheras at the last minute.
Sources say the ceremony conducted was so authentic that had they completed the last round they would have actually been man and wife!
A source said, “We were shooting in Malshej Ghat and there was this old temple where we had got a local maharaj for the wedding sequence.
Unfortunately the pandit has never witnessed a wedding and did not understand the concept of ‘cut’ and ‘action’ while shooting. It was a multi-camera set-up and so we needed to have minimum shots.
However whenever Nishikant Kamath would say cut, the pandit would not stop. Finally after the sixth phera someone from the unit realized that the mantras were real and if not stopped John and Genelia would be actually married. So, they were stopped before the final round.”
When contacted Vipul Shah said, “Actually it was a funny thing. The local pandit could not understand the dynamics of the shoot and insisted on completing the pheras.
After the sixth phera, everyone burst out laughing as they realized that they would actually be married. John and Genelia then realized this too and burst out laughing.
However the maharaj kept insisting that they complete the pheras and it was difficult to explain to him that we cannot do this.
We also did not want to hurt his sentiments and did not want to be disrespectful towards him. The good part was that the scene came out beautifully as John and Genelia were laughing and smiling, all thanks to the pandit.”

Rakhi rejects a Hollywood project because of love making scenes…

If buzz is to be believed, Rakhi Sawant claims to have rejected a film with Hollywood star Russel Crowe because the script demanded making love on screen and Rakhi wasn’t very comfortable.

“Mujhe do offers aaye thay (I had received two offers), but just because of my broken English, and the bed scenes and smooch scenes involved, I have refused the movies,” says Rakhi, and adds, “They wanted me to do sex scenes. Gladiator ke hero Russell Crowe ke saath movie thi (It was a movie with the ‘Gladiator’ hero Russel Crowe). They wanted me to wear a two-piece, but I was not comfortable with it. I am even okay doing a pole dance, but not smooching scenes.”
If you find that hard to believe, here’s something more believable: Rakhi will play a sex teacher Delnaz Doodhwala in Ashfaque Makrani’s Qasam Se Qasam. Apart from the obvious pun in her character’s name, isn’t that a tad contradictory? “It’s a message that I am giving to the kids. It is also important to tell them about safety. That is my message through the movie,” says Rakhi
Looks like Rakhi is following Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s footsteps.

The Kapoor sisters looked great at Anamika Khannas show LFW Spring 11.
Rhea kept it feminine with a skirt, leggings & a jacket. Sonam on the other hand kept it androgynous with pants, shirt,waistcoat & a jacket. The silver clutch & the neckpiece didn’t add too much to the outfit. The gelled pulled back hair & smokey eyes obviously worked. Sonams confidence did the rest.
Rhea wears clothes brilliantly but her posture seems very droopy and flouncy.

Weight loss gains Zarine a BIG film….

Katrina Kaif’s look alike Zarine Khan was at one point of time the hot topic in B town. But soon after her film Veer became a dud at the box office, she was not to be seen.
Ever since the actress hit the gym, and lost oodles of weight, she is back once again to make her presence felt in and around B town. She will be seen doing a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Ready. Not just that. Zarine will also be seen in Salman’s close friend Sajid Nadiadwala’s film Housefull 2. She has already signed the project.
When contacted, Sajid Khan, confirming the news, he says, “Yes, she has joined the cast along with Asin and Jacqueline. However, I won’t be able to tell you whom she has been signed opposite as the screenplay is quite twisted.
Sajid Nadiadwala gave the story idea. Tusshar Hiranandani, Sajid-Farhad and I are writing the screenplay. Sajid-Farhad are writing the dialogues as well.”
When asked how Zarine was finalised???
Revealed Khan, “I met her at a cancer association function with my producer Sajid Nadiadwala. That’s when we saw how beautiful she has become.
She has lost a lot of weight as well. Within a week we decided to sign her for the film,”.
Nadiadwala confirming the news, said, “I have known her for a long time. We have been family friends and I am glad that we are working together.”
